Instructions
- Prepare the fresh tuna by patting it dry with paper towels to remove any excess moisture.
- Season the tuna evenly with 1 tsp of dried tarragon, 0.25 tsp of salt, and 1 tsp of ground black pepper.
- Preheat a skillet over medium-high heat.
- Place the seasoned tuna in the skillet and sear each side for 2-3 minutes for medium-rare, or adjust the cooking time to your preferred level of doneness.
- Remove the tuna from the skillet and let it rest for a couple of minutes before slicing.
