Ingredients

  • 0.25 tbsp Honey
  • 0.25 teaspoon Salt
  • 0.25 tsp ground, Pepper
  • 15 g Garlic, raw
  • 200 g Chicken Livers
  • 40 g White Onion Raw

Instructions

  1. Rinse the chicken livers under cold water and carefully remove any fat or connective tissue.
  2. Finely chop the white onion and mince the garlic.
  3. Season the chicken livers with salt and pepper.
  4. In a pan, heat a tablespoon of olive oil (not listed in ingredients, please add if necessary) over medium heat. Add the chicken livers and sauté until they are browned on all sides but still pink in the middle, approximately 3-4 minutes each side.
  5. Remove the livers from the pan and set aside.
  6. In the same pan, add the chopped onion and minced garlic. Sauté until softened and fragrant, about 2 minutes.
  7. Stir in the honey and a splash of water (about 2 tablespoons, not listed, please add if necessary) to the onion and garlic mixture, scraping the bottom of the pan to lift any browned bits. Cook for 1 minute.
  8. Add the chicken livers back into the pan, coating them well with the honey garlic sauce. Cook for an additional 2-3 minutes, ensuring they are cooked through but not overcooked.
  9. Serve the honey garlic chicken livers hot.
