- 260 g Carrots
- 6 teaspoon Garlic
- 9.20 g ground black pepper
Instructions
- Prepare the vegetables: Dice the medium red onion, mince the garlic (6 teaspoons), and grate the carrots (260 grams).
- Mix the ground pork (1000 grams) in a large bowl with the diced red onion, minced garlic, grated carrots, onion powder (2 tablespoons), salt (1 tablespoon), chopped fresh basil (2 tablespoons), and ground black pepper (9.2 grams) until well combined.
- Cover the bowl with plastic wrap and let the mixture rest in the refrigerator for about 30 minutes to allow the flavors to meld together.
- After resting, mix the filling again briefly and it's now ready to be used in your preferred Shanghai rolls wrapper or as a filling for dumplings.
