Ingredients

  • 0.50 tsp(s) Fish Sauce
  • 1 cup , Garlic
  • 1 large Onion
  • 1 tsp Ground Black Pepper
  • 1 tsp Plain Salt
  • 150 g Pumpkin, raw
  • 2 l water
  • 300 g Green cabbage
  • 300 g Pork / Boston Butt, Raw (夾心肉, 生)

Instructions

  1. Rinse the Pork / Boston Butt under cold water.
  2. Chop the green cabbage and dice the pumpkin into bite-sized pieces.
  3. Mince the garlic and slice the onion.
  4. In a large pot, bring the 2 liters of water to a boil.
  5. Add the pork to the boiling water, reduce heat to medium, and simmer for 45 minutes or until the pork is tender.
  6. Incorporate the garlic, onion, green cabbage, and pumpkin into the pot. Season with fish sauce, salt, and black pepper.
  7. Continue to simmer for an additional 20 minutes, or until the vegetables are tender.
  8. Adjust the seasoning as needed, and serve hot.
