Ingredients

  • 0.50 cup chopped , Green cabbage
  • 0.50 medium Red onion
  • 1 cup strips or slices, Carrots
  • 1 large Egg
  • 1 large Red bell pepper
  • 1 tsp Granulated Garlic
  • 14 clove Garlic
  • 250 g Bacon honey cured
  • 6 cup (8 fl oz), Water

Instructions

  1. Prepare your vegetables: Slice the carrots, chop the red bell pepper and green cabbage, mince the garlic, and finely chop the red onion.
  2. In a large pot, bring 6 cups of water to a boil.
  3. Add the sliced carrots, chopped red bell pepper, and chopped green cabbage to the boiling water. Cook for about 5 minutes or until the vegetables are tender.
  4. While the vegetables are cooking, cut the bacon into small pieces.
  5. In a separate pan, cook the bacon pieces over medium heat until crispy, about 5-7 minutes. Remove and set aside.
  6. In the same pan used for bacon, sauté the minced garlic and chopped red onion until fragrant, about 2 minutes.
  7. Add the sautéed garlic and onion along with the crispy bacon to the pot of boiling vegetables.
  8. Stir in the granulated garlic, then crack the egg into the soup. Gently stir the soup to create egg ribbons. Cook for an additional 3 minutes.
  9. Remove the pot from heat. Allow the soup to sit for a couple of minutes before serving to enhance the flavors.
