  • 205 g Potato
  • 400 g Beef Tendon

Instructions

  1. Wash the beef tendon thoroughly and cut into bite-sized pieces.
  2. Peel and mince the garlic.
  3. Peel and chop the potato, red bell pepper, green bell pepper, and white onion into equal sizes to ensure even cooking.
  4. In a pot, add the beef tendon and water. Bring to a boil and simmer for about 1 hour 30 minutes or until the tendon is tender.
  5. Remove the tendon from the pot, set aside, and discard the water.

  7. Add the cut vegetables (potato, red bell pepper, green bell pepper, and white onion) to the pot and sauté for another 5 minutes.
  8. Return the beef tendon to the pot and add the tomato sauce, stirring well to combine. Season with black pepper and salt.
  9. Cover the pot and let the kaldereta simmer on low heat for about 20 minutes, or until the vegetables are tender and the sauce has thickened.
