Ingredients
- 1 tbsp Kewpie Mayo (Tbs)
- 1 medium Red onion
- 1 teaspoon Butter, unsalted
- 1 teaspoon Salt
- 1 tsp ground, Black pepper
- 2 cup Basmati rice
- 2 cup Mixed vegetables, frozen
- 3 tbsp Crab Paste
- 300 g Frozen Cooked Shrimp
- 6 clove , Garlic
- 60 g Posta Negra
Instructions
- Finely chop the red onion and mince the garlic.
- Rinse the Basmati rice under cold water until the water runs clear.
- In a large pan, melt the butter over medium heat and sauté the onion and garlic until they are soft and fragrant, which takes about 5 minutes.
- Stir in the crab paste, salt, and black pepper to the onion mixture; mix well.
- Add the Basmati rice to the pan, stirring constantly to ensure the rice is fully coated with the onion and crab paste mixture, cook for 2 minutes.
- Dissolve the Posta Negra in 4 cups of hot water and add this to the rice mixture. Bring to a boil, then reduce the heat to low, cover, and simmer for 10 minutes.
- Add the frozen cooked shrimp and mixed vegetables to the pan. Cover and cook for an additional 10 minutes or until the rice is tender and the liquid has been absorbed.
- Remove from heat and gently fold in the Kewpie Mayo until everything is well combined.
