Ginataang Tambakol (Yellow Fin tuna)

Ingredients

  • 0.50 teaspoon Salt
  • 0.50 tsp ground, Pepper
  • 10 g Garlic, raw
  • 30 g Coconut Cream Powder (Correct)
  • 30 g Red Onion
  • 415 g Yellow Fin Tuna
  • 5 g Ginger root - Raw
  • 70 g Bellpepper

Instructions

  1. Prepare the ingredients: thinly slice the Red Onion, mince the Ginger and Garlic, cut the Bellpepper into strips.
  2. In a large pot, mix the Coconut Cream Powder with 200ml of warm water to create coconut cream. Stir until well combined.
  3. Add the sliced Red Onion, minced Ginger, and Garlic to the pot. Cook over medium heat for 5 minutes to soften.
  4. Gently add the Yellow Fin Tuna to the pot. Season with Salt and Pepper. Let it simmer for 10 minutes.
  5. Finally, add the Bellpepper strips to the pot. Cover and let it cook for an additional 5 minutes.
