Ensaladang Kamatis

Ingredients

  • 0.50 medium (approx 2-3/4" long, 2-1/2" dia), Peppers, sweet, green, raw
  • 1 cup Chopped, Red Onion
  • 100 g Tomatoes
  • 2 tbsp Cane Vinegar
  • 2 tsp , Coconut Sugar

Instructions

  1. Begin by preparing your ingredients: finely chop the red onions, dice the green peppers, and slice the tomatoes into wedges.
  2. In a large mixing bowl, combine the chopped red onions, diced green peppers, and tomato wedges.
  3. In a small bowl, mix together 2 teaspoons of coconut sugar with 2 tablespoons of cane vinegar until the sugar is completely dissolved.
  4. Pour the vinegar and sugar mixture over the vegetables and gently toss to combine, ensuring all the ingredients are evenly coated.
  5. Allow the salad to sit for about 10 minutes to marinate, enhancing the flavors of the ingredients.
  6. Serve the Ensaladang Kamatis chilled or at room temperature as a refreshing side dish.
