Easy Sautéed Garlic Butter Asparagus (Low-Carb Side Dish)

Ingredients

  • 0.25 teaspoon Salt
  • 0.25 tsp(s) Butter - Unsalted
  • 200 g Asparagus - Raw
  • 5 g Garlic, raw

Instructions

  1. Prepare the asparagus by washing them and trimming off the tough ends.
  2. Thinly slice the garlic.
  3. Bring a pot of water to a boil, add salt, then blanch the asparagus for 2-3 minutes until tender but still crisp. Drain and set aside.
  4. In a pan, melt the butter over medium heat. Add the sliced garlic and sauté for 1-2 minutes until fragrant.
  5. Add the blanched asparagus to the pan. Sprinkle with salt to taste, and toss to coat evenly with the garlic butter. Cook for an additional 2-3 minutes.
