Dory Blossom Salad

Ingredients

  • 1 carrot Medium, Medium Carrot
  • 1 fillet Cream Dory
  • 1 tbsp leaves, Spices, basil, dried
  • 100 g Banana Blossom/ Flower
  • 133 g Cucumber
  • 2 cup Chopped Romaine
  • 25 g Green Bellpepper
  • 25 g Yellow Bellpepper
  • 50 g Extra Firm
  • 50 g Tomatoes

Instructions

  1. Wash and chop the romaine lettuce. Peel and slice the carrot. Dice the cucumber, yellow bell pepper, and green bell pepper.
  2. Cut the tomatoes into wedges. Prepare the extra firm tofu by cutting it into small cubes.
  3. Season the cream dory fillet with dried basil leaves, salt, and pepper to taste.
  4. Preheat a pan over medium heat and cook the dory fillet until it's golden and cooked through, about 6-8 minutes each side.
  5. Prepare the banana blossom/flower by slicing it thinly and soaking it in water mixed with a bit of vinegar to prevent browning.
  6. In a large bowl, combine the chopped romaine lettuce, sliced carrot, diced cucumber, yellow bell pepper, green bell pepper, tomato wedges, and tofu cubes.
  7. Add the cooked cream dory fillet and sliced banana blossom/flower to the salad mixture.
  8. Toss everything gently to combine. Optionally, you can add your favorite salad dressing or a squeeze of lemon juice for extra flavor.
