Chicken Squash Soup

Ingredients

  • 0.25 teaspoon Salt
  • 0.25 tsp ground, Pepper
  • 1 g Moringa Oleifera Leaves
  • 126 g Pumpkin, raw
  • 15 g Garlic, raw
  • 18 g Fresh Turmeric Root
  • 300 g chicken
  • 57 g Red Onion

Instructions

  1. Prepare the ingredients: Cut the chicken into small pieces; dice the red onion; mince the garlic; peel and grate the fresh turmeric root; wash and chop the Moringa Oleifera leaves; cube the pumpkin.
  2. In a large pot, combine the chicken, red onion, garlic, salt, pepper, and grated turmeric root. Add enough water to cover the ingredients.
  3. Bring to a boil over medium heat, then reduce to a simmer, cooking for 20 minutes until the chicken is tender.
  4. Add the cubed pumpkin to the pot and simmer for another 10 minutes until the pumpkin is soft.
  5. Stir in the Moringa Oleifera leaves and cook for an additional 5 minutes.
  6. Taste and adjust seasoning with more salt and pepper if needed. Serve hot.
