Ingredients
- 1 cup Tomato Puree
- 1 tsp Spices, marjoram, dried
- 1 tsp Thyme, fresh
- 1 tsp ground, Basil, fresh
- 18 g Red
- 2 tsp(s) Salt
- 2 tsp ground, Pepper
- 20 g Capsicum - Green
- 3 tsp(s) Extra Virgin Olive Oil
- 300 g Ground Beef
- 63 g Red Onion
Instructions
- Finely dice the red onion, capsicum (green and red), and set aside.
- Heat the extra virgin olive oil in a large skillet over medium heat.
- Add the diced onions and capsicum to the skillet and sauté until they are soft, about 5 minutes.
- Increase the heat to medium-high and add the ground beef to the skillet, cooking until browned, about 8 minutes.
- Mix in the tomato puree, salt, ground pepper, thyme, basil, and marjoram. Reduce heat to low and let simmer for 15 minutes to allow flavors to blend.
