Ingredients

  • 1 cup Tomato Puree
  • 1 tsp Spices, marjoram, dried
  • 1 tsp Thyme, fresh
  • 1 tsp ground, Basil, fresh
  • 18 g Red
  • 2 tsp(s) Salt
  • 2 tsp ground, Pepper
  • 20 g Capsicum - Green
  • 3 tsp(s) Extra Virgin Olive Oil
  • 300 g Ground Beef
  • 63 g Red Onion

Instructions

  1. Finely dice the red onion, capsicum (green and red), and set aside.
  2. Heat the extra virgin olive oil in a large skillet over medium heat.
  3. Add the diced onions and capsicum to the skillet and sauté until they are soft, about 5 minutes.
  4. Increase the heat to medium-high and add the ground beef to the skillet, cooking until browned, about 8 minutes.
  5. Mix in the tomato puree, salt, ground pepper, thyme, basil, and marjoram. Reduce heat to low and let simmer for 15 minutes to allow flavors to blend.
