Beef Carrot Sweet Ginger

Ingredients

  • 0.50 tablespoon Sugar
  • 0.50 teaspoon Salt
  • 1 tsp ground, Pepper
  • 100 g Red
  • 171 g Carrots, raw
  • 2 tsp(s) Extra Virgin Olive Oil
  • 257 g Ground Beef
  • 31 g Ginger root - Raw
  • 56 g Red Onion
  • 83 g Capsicum - Green

Instructions

  1. Prep your vegetables: dice the red onion, capsicum, and carrots, and mince the ginger root.
  2. Preheat a skillet over medium heat and add the extra virgin olive oil.
  3. Add the diced red onion and minced ginger to the skillet and sauté for about 3 minutes, until the onion is translucent.
  4. Increase the heat to medium-high, add the ground beef to the skillet, and cook for about 5 minutes, breaking it apart with a spoon until it's browned.
  5. Add the diced carrots and capsicum to the skillet, stirring to integrate. Let the mixture cook for another 5 minutes, or until the vegetables are tender.
  6. Season the mixture with salt, sugar, and ground pepper. Mix well to ensure the seasonings are evenly distributed.
  7. Reduce the heat to low, cover the skillet, and let the mixture simmer for 5 minutes, allowing the flavors to meld together.
