- 15 g Garlic, raw
- 18 g Red Onion
- 30 ml Coconut Cream (Uht)
- 400 g Banana Blossom/ Flower
Instructions
- Prepare the ingredients: peel and finely mince the garlic, peel and finely chop the red onion, and trim the banana blossom, removing the tough outer layers and slicing the tender parts.
- Heat a large pan over medium heat and sauté the garlic and red onion until they are soft and fragrant, about 5 minutes.
- Add the sliced banana blossom to the pan, stir to combine with the garlic and onion, and cook for an additional 10 minutes until the banana blossom has softened.
- Pour in the coconut cream, reduce the heat to low, and simmer the mixture gently for 20 minutes, allowing the flavors to meld and the sauce to slightly thicken.
- After simmering, remove the pan from heat and let the dish rest for a few minutes before serving. This allows the banana blossom to absorb the flavors fully.
