2018/10/16 Adlai Carrot Rice

Ingredients

  • 0.25 tsp(s) Salt
  • 10 g Garlic, raw
  • 100 g Carrots, raw
  • 190 g Adlai Rice (Job's Tears)

Instructions

  1. Rinse the Adlai Rice under cold running water until the water runs clear.
  2. Cook the Adlai Rice in a pot of boiling water with a pinch of salt. Follow the package instructions for the cooking time, then set aside.
  3. Peel and dice the carrots into small pieces.
  4. Peel and mince the garlic.
  5. In a pan over medium heat, sauté the minced garlic until fragrant, about 2 minutes.
  6. Add the diced carrots to the pan and cook until they are tender, about 5-7 minutes.
  7. Combine the cooked Adlai Rice with the sautéed carrots and garlic. Stir well and season with salt to taste.
