Ingredients
- 0.25 teaspoon Salt
- 0.25 tsp ground, Pepper
- 13 g Garlic, raw
- 190 g Adlai Rice (Job's Tears)
- 200 g Belly
- 40 g Red Onion
- 400 g Amapalaya (Bitter Gourd)
Instructions
- Finely dice the Red Onion. Mince the Garlic. Slice the Amapalaya (Bitter Gourd) into thin strips. Cut the Belly into bite-size pieces.
- Rinse the Adlai Rice under cold water until the water runs clear.
- Cook the Adlai Rice according to package instructions until tender, then set aside.
- In a pan over medium heat, sauté the Red Onion and Garlic until soft, about 5 minutes.
- Add the sliced Amapalaya (Bitter Gourd) to the pan and cook until it begins to soften, about 8 minutes.
- Season the Belly pieces with Salt and Pepper, then add to the pan. Cook until the meat is browned and fully cooked, around 10 minutes.
- Combine the cooked meat and vegetables with the Adlai Rice. Stir everything together until well combined. Adjust seasoning with Salt and Pepper, if necessary.
